    It’s all relative(s)! After a great first week of travels, our second week in Spain we met up with yet more cousins. Some we hadn’t seen in about 17 years, others in even 30! But still it was so nice and great fun to be reunited again. On monday we first brought our car to the garage to have our car window fixed.     Reconnecting with friends and family Our first week of our Europe summer road trip has been foremost about meeting with old friends and familymembers. It is amazing seeing these people after years like time has not passed. Only some added wrinkles and dates on calenders tell us the truth: we have all grown older.     Preparing our family summer trip In a few days we will hit the road again. This time we will go on a 7 week family summer road trip through 9 European countries. Well, the kids and I will. During our 6th travel week Juul will fly home 5 days for work. It will be the first time ever to be apart for that long, so it is kind of exciting (in both a good and not good way).     Traveling by train in Europe… we had done it before. Little day trips around the country, weekend getaways to Germany and Belgium. But never had we travelled as a family of 5 for a few weeks through several European countries. Until the summer of 2017. Our car had broken down the year before.
